Shivganga Roadways

Our place is at 56-B Yeshwantpur, right at the Swastick Char Rasta on C G Road. We are directly opposite the Kanteerava studio, which is a big landmark around here. Being in the roadways business means our lives revolve around trucks and timing. There is always a lot of activity at our gate with vehicles coming in from long hauls and others getting ready to head out. The office is just a small room where we keep all the waybills and delivery notes in big metal cupboards. It’s a noisy spot because of the traffic and the engines idling outside. We spend a lot of time on the phone with drivers who are stuck at some border or waiting for a load. It’s a lot of pressure to keep things moving, but we’ve been doing it for years so we are used to the stress. The studio across the street brings in some interesting people, but we mostly focus on our own logistics. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only place we get a break during a long shift. We don’t have a fancy corporate structure, it’s just a family-run thing where everyone chips in. The furniture is old and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but it works for what we need to do every day. We just keep the trucks moving and the paperwork sorted.
