Sharma Foods

Down here in Jakasandra, things are a bit quieter than the main roads, but 3rd Main still gets its share of people. We are tucked away on 7th C Cross. It’s mostly houses around us, so we see the same faces every single morning. Sharma Foods isn't some big corporation or anything like that. It’s just us. We started out small and stayed that way, which works for us. Usually, the day starts with us unloading crates and checking what we have in the pantry. The kitchen gets hot pretty fast, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, and we just have to sit and wait it out with the fans off. It’s just how things go here sometimes. We don’t have a website or anything fancy to show off to the world. Most people find us because they live just a few streets away or they were walking to the park and got hungry. My cousin helps out when he can, but mostly it’s just the three of us doing the cooking and cleaning. We don’t really change the menu much because people seem to like what we have. It’s honest work, I guess. Nothing too exciting happens, but we like the routine of it. We keep the floor swept and the lights on until we close up late at night. That’s pretty much all there is to it, just a local food business doing its thing.
