Sharif Traders

You can find Sharif Traders at No. 9/11 in the S.G Complex. This is right inside the A.P.M.C Yard in Yeshwanthpur. If you know Bangalore, you know how crazy this yard gets. There are trucks everywhere and people shouting and carrying loads on their backs. Our unit is just one of many in the complex. We deal with various goods that come through the market. It is a lot of paperwork and even more physical labor. The walls of our office are stained and the furniture is old. We don't see the point in fixing it up when the yard itself is so gritty. We start our day when it is still dark outside. The morning air in Yeshwanthpur is thick with exhaust fumes and the smell of produce. We spend our hours checking invoices and making sure the loaders are putting the right stuff on the right trucks. It is easy to lose track of time in here. Sometimes we share tea with the other traders in the complex. We have been operating out of this spot for a long time now. It is a tough environment but we are used to the chaos. We don't have a fancy mission. We just trade goods and try to make a living. The traffic around the yard is always a mess so we just stay put until the work is done. Usually, we head home late when the noise finally dies down a bit and the trucks stop coming.
