Getting to our place at 181 Kumbarpet Main Road involves navigating through a lot of traffic, especially since we’re so close to the Kalasipalyam Bus Stop. We are tucked away on the second floor, so you have to walk up the stairs which can be a bit tiring if you’re doing it ten times a day. The building is older, one of those classic Kumbarpet structures where space is tight and every corner is used for something. Sharavathi Enterprises has been operating from this floor for a while now. Some days it feels like the whole city is passing by right outside the window because of the constant honking and people shouting. We keep the doors open most of the time to get some air in, though that also lets in all the dust from the street. Our workspace isn't some high-tech office with glass walls; it’s mostly just desks, a lot of paperwork, and boxes stacked against the walls. We handle a variety of things here and the phone rings more than it should. The staff usually eats lunch together in the small back area. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Living and working in this part of town means you get used to the chaos. We just focus on getting through the day's tasks and making sure nothing gets lost in the shuffle of being in such a busy wholesale hub. It's just a normal day for us here on the second floor.
