Shanthi Food Lines

Shanthi Food Lines is our small business located at Vidya Nager 25, right on the Kaggadasapura Main Road in New Thippasandra. We mostly deal with supplying food items and snacks to the smaller local shops around this specific area. It started in my small garage about ten years ago and slowly we moved into this bigger space. It’s more of a warehouse than a typical shop you can walk into. We have stacks of heavy boxes everywhere and the floor is usually covered in tape and packing material. We don't have a big team here, just me and two other guys who help with the constant loading and unloading of the delivery vans. The traffic on Kaggadasapura road can be a total nightmare, so our delivery times are sometimes a bit off. We don't have a fancy office with carpets or air conditioning. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day under this tin roof. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the local vendors have what they need for their customers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and counting stock. We don't really have a big brand name that people recognize. Most people in this neighborhood just know us as the place with the big blue gate. Sometimes we have neighbors walking in trying to buy things directly, and we try to help them out if we have some extra stock on the shelves. It’s a very simple operation.
