Shams Beauty Parlour

Shams Beauty Parlour is located at No B 1292 in Austin Town. We are right opposite the BDA Complex, which is the main landmark in this part of Bangalore. It is an older building, and our shop is not very large. We have been here for some time, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. Inside, there are a couple of stations for hair and threading. We have some shelves where we keep the threads, waxes, and different hair oils. The floor is a bit worn from all the people walking in over the years. We start the day by cleaning the mirrors and putting out fresh towels. It’s mostly women from Austin Town who come here. They know us by name, and we know what they usually want. It is a simple place with a few fans on the ceiling to keep it cool. We don't have any big marketing plans; we just open the door and wait for the customers to arrive. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the traffic near the BDA Complex picks up, but we are used to it. The shop is filled with the smell of rose water and hair spray most of the time. We keep an old notebook to write down appointments, though many people just drop in when they are passing by. It’s an honest, small business that serves the local community.
