You can find our place on the first floor of the Balaji Complex, specifically at 29 M M Lane. It’s right near the J M Road Cross. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded with shoppers and traders. We deal in jari, which involves a lot of looking at threads and patterns all day. It’s a traditional kind of business that’s been around for a long time. The office is filled with samples and rolls of different materials. We don't have a big storefront with lights; it’s more of a place where people who know us come to do business. Sometimes the stairs up to the first floor are a bit of a climb if you’re carrying heavy bundles, but we’re used to it. The light in the workspace is important so we can see the detail in the work. We spend a lot of time talking to customers who are looking for something very specific for their own projects. It’s quiet inside compared to the street noise outside, which is nice. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us making sure the orders are correct and the quality is what it should be. We’ve been in this complex for a while now and most of our neighbors are like family. We just keep doing our bit every day.
