About Seema Tuition Centre – Education in Bengaluru
We have been here on Wood Street for a good while now. The building at No. 9 is where everything happens every afternoon when the school day ends. Ashoknagar gets pretty busy around that time, and you can hear the cars and bikes going past the window while students sit at their desks. It is not a fancy place, just some rooms with tables and chairs where we go through lessons and try to make sense of what was taught in class. Most days, it is just about getting the work done. We keep some extra pens in the drawer because someone always forgets theirs. The walls have some old charts on them. Some of the kids have been coming here since they were much smaller. It is a bit loud sometimes when everyone arrives at once, but we settle down soon enough. The local shops around us are familiar, and we see the same faces every day. There is no big sign or anything flashy, just the name on the door. We spend a lot of time just talking through problems and making sure everyone understands their homework before they head home. Sometimes the power goes out and we just open the windows for more light. It is just a normal part of the day here in Bangalore. We do our work, the kids do theirs, and then we lock up and go home ourselves. It feels like a second home for a lot of us who spend our evenings here.
