Satvikk Speciality Foods

If you walk down the 50 Feet Road in Basavanagudi's 2nd Block, you will find Satvikk Speciality Foods. We are right on the 9th Main Road. The shop is small but we pack a lot into it. We mostly sell things that are a bit different from your everyday groceries, like specialized items people look for. It’s a lot of stocking shelves and talking to the regular people who live nearby. Basavanagudi is a quiet neighborhood, or at least it used to be before all the cars and noise arrived. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass jars and making sure everything looks decent on the shelves. We are not a chain or a big franchise from some other city. It is just us here, trying to offer something a bit more specific for the kitchen. Some days are slow and we just sit by the door watching the world go by. Other days, we can’t keep up with the people coming in and out. We don't have a big marketing budget, so we just rely on being nice to people and making sure they find what they need. The lighting in the back of the shop is a bit dim, and the old fan makes a clicking noise, but it’s our space. We like the community here. It feels like a small village sometimes even though we are in the middle of a big city. We just keep things simple.
