We’re based over in Vijayanagar, at 3390/6 on the 5th ‘A’ Main. It’s a bit of a maze back here in the R.P.C. Layout, but once you find the 2nd Cross, you’ll see our place. Sasken Networks Engineering Ltd has been running out of this spot in Bangalore for a good while. The neighborhood is mostly houses and small shops, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We do network engineering, which basically means we’re the ones people call when the technical stuff gets too confusing. Our office is pretty basic. We have some benches for testing gear and a few chairs that have seen better days. It isn't about looking impressive for visitors because we’re usually out at different sites anyway. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone writing fancy scripts for us. We just talk like regular people and do the work that’s expected. Sometimes we grab tea from the stall down the road and talk about the day's tasks. It’s a steady rhythm. The guys here know their stuff, and we try to keep things simple. We don't use a lot of big words to explain things. If a network is broken, we find the problem and fix it. That’s pretty much the whole story of what happens here on the 2nd Cross. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of hardware delivered, but we manage fine.
