Sarala Birla Academy

Sarala Birla Academy is located out on Bannerghatta Main Road, at number 3-52 in Pillaganahalli. It is quite a stretch of road, and the traffic can be a real headache in the mornings and evenings, but once you get inside the gates, it is a lot quieter. We have a lot of space here, which is necessary since we have students living on the grounds. The buildings are large and spread out, and we spend a lot of our time just walking from one section to another to keep an eye on things. It is a big responsibility looking after so many kids all day and night, so we stay pretty busy with the daily chores and schedules. The dining hall is usually the loudest place on campus, especially during lunch when everyone is hungry. We have a lot of trees and some green patches where the kids can sit around when they aren't in class. It is not as fancy as some of the newer places you see in the city center, but it feels more like a community because we are all here together most of the time. The staff and the teachers have a routine down, from the early morning wake-up calls to the lights-out at night. We don't really do much in the way of big promotions. We just focus on the day-to-day life of the academy and making sure the students are taken care of properly. It is a long day, but we have our systems.
