Sarala Birla Academy

Sarala Birla Academy is located way out on Jigni Road in the Bannerghatta area. It’s a long way from the city, so it feels very different from the schools in the middle of town. We have a lot of open land around us, which gives the whole place a bit of a rural feel. The buildings are large and sturdy, spread out across the campus. Since it’s a boarding school, many of us spend most of our time here, even when classes aren't going on. It’s a lot of work to keep such a big place running properly. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a light in the dorms or a fence near the boundary. We don't use any fancy corporate language or try to impress anyone with big words. We just do the daily chores and keep the students on track. The dining hall is a busy place three times a day, and that’s where most of us catch up with each other. The air is definitely better out here than in the city, but it can get quite lonely if you’re used to the noise of the streets. We have a very set routine that everyone follows. It’s a practical way of living and working. We aren't trying to be anything special; we’re just a bunch of people looking after this school in the countryside.
