Sapthagiri Condiments

The shop here at Sapthagiri Condiments in Jalahalli West, specifically Tithe Vasti 32, has been open for a good while now. We mostly spend our mornings setting out the jars of snacks and making sure the tea is ready for the early crowd. It is a small place, but it gets the job done when people are looking for something salty or sweet to take home. Jalahalli can be a bit dusty in the afternoons, but inside it stays relatively cool. People stop by after work usually. We have various powders, snacks, and fried items that we pack in small plastic bags. Sometimes the traffic outside is loud, but you get used to it after a few years. I usually sit near the front counter while my nephew helps with the stock in the back room. We don't have any fancy signs or neon lights. Just the basic stuff people need for their kitchens and daily tea time. Yesterday the delivery truck was late because of the rain, so we had to wait around quite a bit, but that is how it goes sometimes in this part of town. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately, with new buildings going up nearby and more cars on the road. But we are still right here at the same spot. Most regulars know us by name and stop to chat for a minute. It is just a routine life, keeping the shelves stocked and the floor swept every morning before we open up. We try to keep things organized even if it gets a bit cramped when more than three people walk in at once. It is a simple life running a small business.
