Saptagiri Gents Saloon

Saptagiri Gents Saloon is right on the 5th main road in Ganganagar. We are located directly on the main road, which means there is a lot of noise from the buses and bikes going past all day long. It is a gents-only saloon, so it’s a place where men can just come in, get a quick shave or a haircut, and go about their business. We have the usual setup with three or four chairs lined up in front of a long mirror. There are some shelves where we keep the talcum powder, the spray bottles, and the different types of combs we use. The floor is a simple concrete one that is easy to sweep. Ganganagar is a busy residential area, so we get a lot of office workers in the morning and students in the late afternoon. We have a small plastic bench for waiting, and sometimes it gets quite full when there’s a cricket match on the TV in the corner. We don't use any fancy products, just the ones that have worked for us for years. The shop isn't very big, and it can feel a bit cramped when it's raining outside and everyone crowds in, but it’s a friendly atmosphere. We’ve been part of this main road for a long time now. Most of our day is spent handling the shears and talking about what's happening in the city. It is a practical place for a regular haircut.
