Santrupti Fast Food

Our place, Santrupti Fast Food, is right on the Attibele Road near Billapura in Malleshwaram. We’ve been at number 12 for a long time. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always people walking by or stopping their bikes for a quick bite. We don’t have fancy seating or anything like that. Mostly people just stand and eat or take their food to go. The kitchen is small but we keep it moving. Mornings are the craziest because of the breakfast rush. Everyone wants their food fast so they can get to work on time. Sometimes we run out of things early if it's a particularly busy Tuesday or Friday. We make the usual items people expect around here. Nothing too complicated, just stuff that tastes like it should. The stove is almost always on from early morning until we close up at night. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and it's tough being near the burners, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We know many of the faces who come in daily. It’s nice to have regulars who don’t even have to say their order anymore. We just see them and start cooking. The Billapura area has changed a lot since we started, with more traffic and new buildings, but we’re still here in the same spot, serving whoever stops by. We try to keep the counter clean but when it rains, people bring in a lot of mud on their shoes.
