Our shop is located at 455/G, right near the Ganesha Temple on 9th Cross. If you know the 8th Main Road in Vijaya Nagar, we aren't hard to find. The temple is a good landmark because people are always coming and going there for prayers. We usually open up early, around the same time the morning bells start ringing. It's a decent spot, though parking a car on the cross road is almost impossible some days. Most people just walk over or leave their scooters nearby. The shop itself is pretty straightforward. We have shelves for the kadhi and other items, and a small desk where we keep the books. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but that’s just how we like it. We don't have air conditioning, just the breeze from the door and the ceiling fans. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty being so close to the main road, but we try to keep things clean. We spend a lot of time talking to the regulars who live in the surrounding houses. They stop by after their temple visits just to say hello or see what’s new. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us around. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the festival days when the whole street gets packed. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture now.
