Out here at 289 Whitefield, we keep things pretty straightforward. Santosh Agencies is mostly about moving goods and making sure the inventory matches what the papers say. Our space is usually stacked with boxes, and there’s always a truck or a van pulling up to the loading area. It can get a bit chaotic in the mornings when the new shipments arrive and we have to find space for everything. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking off lists. It isn't the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The office part is just a couple of desks tucked away in the corner near the main door. Whitefield is a busy area, so there’s always traffic outside, but inside we just focus on the orders. We’ve had some of the same people working here for years, so we all know how the system works. Sometimes a delivery is late and we have to scramble, or a customer calls with a last-minute change. We just deal with it as it comes. There’s no big secret to how we run things, we just show up and get the boxes where they need to go. The tea stall nearby is where we usually end up talking about the day's work once we close up the shutters. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the daily demands and getting through the pile of invoices on the desk.
