Santhosh Mens Parlour

Santhosh Mens Parlour has been operating out of Shop no. 5/1 for a good while now. We are located right at the corner of 1st cross and 3rd main in the Ayyappa Block area of Vannarpet. It is a busy little part of Austin Town, mostly because the Infants Indian KIDZE school is right across the street from us. You can usually hear the kids playing or parents calling out when school lets out in the afternoon. We are also quite close to the Ayyappa swami temple, so we get a lot of people walking past on their way to pray. The shop itself is nothing fancy at all. We have a few old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years and some mirrors that we try to keep clean. It’s just a place for a haircut or a shave. We don’t have air conditioning, so the ceiling fans are always humming to keep the Bangalore heat away. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets a bit loud, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. We mostly see local guys from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. It is a simple life here, just cutting hair and talking about whatever is going on in the news. If you are looking for us, just find the KIDZE school and look opposite. We are usually there from morning until late evening.
