Saifee Stores

Saifee Stores has been sitting here on Coral Merchant Street for a good while now. If you know the Mannady area, you know how tight these roads can get, especially when the morning deliveries start showing up. Our shop is at number 86, and it’s usually packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of things. We didn't really plan for it to get this crowded, but that’s just how it goes when you try to keep everything people might need. It's mostly general items, stuff for the house or small hardware bits that neighbors come looking for. Usually, the fan is humming and there’s a bit of dust on the higher shelves because reaching them is a bit of a chore. We open up pretty early and stay until the evening traffic starts to thin out. Some days are just quiet, with only a few people popping in for a lightbulb or a packet of nails. Other times, it feels like everyone in the neighborhood needs something at the exact same moment. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s just rows of boxes and us behind the counter trying to find what someone asked for. Most of the folks who walk in have been coming here for years, so we end up chatting about the weather or the local news while we look for change in the drawer. It's just a regular local shop doing its thing in a busy part of town.
