Working at Sahara Domestic & International on Siddaiah Road keeps us on our toes. Our address is number 15 H, and it’s a place that’s always full of boxes, tape, and shipping labels. We handle a lot of packages going to places both near and far. It’s not the most glamorous job, but it’s important to the people who come in here. We spend a lot of time weighing parcels and double-checking the addresses to make sure everything is going where it should. The street outside, Siddaiah Road, is usually pretty crowded with traffic, so there’s always a bit of a scramble when a delivery truck pulls up to unload. We don't have a big corporate office feel here. It’s more about the stacks of cardboard and the sound of the printer going off all day. Some days we get people sending small gifts to family, and other times it’s big crates for businesses. We just take it as it comes. The shop can get a bit disorganized when it’s peak season, but we managed to find our way through the piles of mail. It’s a lot of standing and moving things around, which can be tiring, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We just focus on getting the parcels sorted and out the door as fast as we can. It’s a simple, busy life here at number 15 H, just helping people move their things from one place to another.
