Sagar Fast Food

You can find us in Yeshwantpur on the Whitefield Road. We’re actually inside the Phoenix Market City area, at units 5 and 6. It’s a busy place with all the shoppers walking by all day. We make food fast because people are usually in a hurry to go see a movie or finish their shopping. We have a small kitchen in the back where we cook everything. It gets really hot back there. We serve things like noodles, fried rice, and some rolls. It’s nothing fancy, just stuff that fills you up. The tables are small and sometimes we run out of chairs when it’s the weekend. We use plastic plates to make things easier. My brother and I run the counter. We’ve been here since the mall opened. The noise from the crowds can be a lot, but you get used to it. We don't spend money on advertising or anything. People just see the sign and come in. Sometimes we run out of ingredients early if it’s a holiday. We try to keep the prices low so students can eat here too. It’s just a regular fast food stall. We clean up at night and do it all again the next day. Sometimes the mall security tells us to move our crates. We just keep our heads down and cook. It’s a living. Usually we are very tired by ten at night. We close up and go home to sleep. Tomorrow is always another busy day here.
