Sagar Beauty Salon

Our place is tucked away on 2nd Cross, just off A M Road in Shivaji Nagar. If you know where the Mutyalamma temple is, then you know where we are. It’s a busy area with lots of people moving around all day long. We’ve been running this beauty salon for some time now. It’s not a big fancy place, just a regular shop where women come to get their hair done or maybe some threading. We keep the mirrors clean and the chairs ready for whoever walks in. The neighborhood is always loud with the sounds of the market and the temple bells nearby, but we’re used to it. People stop by after they finish their shopping or on their way home from work. We don’t have any big signs or advertisements. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the afternoons, so people might have to wait a little while on the wooden bench. We just do our work and talk to the neighbors about what's happening. It feels like a small community here even though Bangalore is getting so big and busy. We try to make sure everyone leaves looking a bit better than when they came in. It's mostly just routine stuff, nothing out of the ordinary for us. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening lights come on. If you’re around Shivaji Nagar, you’ll find us easily enough near the temple.
