The building at 90/4 in Kundalahalli has been there for a while. We are on the ground floor. In the mornings, the kitchen staff arrives and starts prepping the onions and tomatoes. There is a lot of chopping sound before the first customer even shows up. The floor is a dark stone that stays relatively cool even when the weather is hot. We have wooden tables and the chairs don't all match perfectly, but they work. The menus are getting a bit worn at the edges from people flipping through them. We keep a stack of napkins on every table, usually held down by a heavy salt shaker so they don’t blow away when the door opens. The light in here is a bit dim towards the back, so we have to keep the overhead bulbs on all day. Outside, the Kundalahalli traffic is always moving, and you can hear the buses shifting gears. We have a small sink in the corner for people to wash their hands. The soap dispenser sometimes gets stuck, so you have to hit it twice. We do a lot of takeout orders too. You’ll see the bags lined up on the counter near the register, waiting for the drivers to come pick them up. It’s a busy place, especially around one o’clock. We just try to get the food out hot and keep the water pitchers full. When the last person leaves, we finally sit down for a minute ourselves.
