S V Engineering

S V Engineering is over on Jaya Chamarajendra Road at C-14. It is basically a workshop where we do a lot of machining and repair work for various industrial parts. J.C. Road is famous for this kind of stuff, so we are surrounded by many similar businesses. Our place is full of lathes, drills, and the constant smell of cutting oil. It is not a clean environment, but it is where the real work happens every day. We take on jobs that people bring in, usually broken parts that need fixing or custom pieces that need to be made from scratch. I have got a couple of guys who have been with me for years; they know the machines better than I do. We do not have a front office or anything like that. You just walk into the shop and talk to whoever is not busy with a machine at that moment. Sometimes it is loud enough that we have to shout to be heard over the noise. We work with a lot of local factories and small garages nearby. The building at C-14 is old, but the machines are well-maintained and reliable. We do not really do any marketing. People find us through word of mouth or because they have been coming here for a decade. It is practical, greasy work. We do not promise anything except that we will try our best to get the part working again for you. (252 words)
