S M S Chiken Centre

S M S Chiken Centre is located right on Banneraghatta Road, which is always noisy with cars and buses going by. We start early, way before the sun is really up, because that is when the birds arrive. It is a messy job, but someone has to do it. We spend most of the morning cleaning the place and getting things ready for the local families who come by for their lunch meat. The floor is usually wet from the washing, and we are always wearing our boots. It is just a small shop, nothing like the big supermarkets you see further down the road. We know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. They come here because they know we are honest about what we sell. We don't have a website or any of that, just the shop here at 38001. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble, but that is just part of living and working here. We have a few guys helping with the cutting and packing. It gets really crowded on Sundays, almost impossible to move. But we like the rush. It keeps us moving. We don't have any fancy signs, just the name above the door. It is a simple life and a simple business, just selling chicken to the neighborhood day after day. We just try to keep the knives sharp and the counters clean for everyone.
