S L V Industrial Gases is located over on Ganesh Temple Road in the Hrbr Layout. It’s a busy little corner, right behind Jal Vayu Vihar in Kalyan Nagar. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty crowded around the temple on certain days. Our place at No. 14 is where we keep all the cylinders and equipment. It’s a bit of a heavy job, moving things around all day. The air usually smells a bit like metal and dust. We’ve got a small team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the heavy lifting. It isn't a quiet office job, that's for sure. There’s always the sound of trucks pulling up or the clanging of metal. We spend a lot of time checking valves and making sure everything is where it should be. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. People around Kalyan Nagar know where to find us if they need something. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing fancy presentations. Most of our work happens right there on the floor or out on the delivery truck. It’s straightforward work. We show up, do the job, and head home when the gates are locked. We have been doing this for long enough that it's just second nature to us now.
