S.L.V. Engineering

S.L.V. Engineering is located at number 31 on 9th Cross in the Patel Chennappa Industrial Estate. It’s a typical industrial area, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks in the background. Our workshop isn't very large, but we've squeezed in all the equipment we need over the years. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there, but it holds up the heavy machines. We don't have a front desk or a waiting room. Usually, you just walk through the main shutter and you'll find us working at the back. We wear old clothes because things get messy quickly when you’re dealing with metal and oil. There’s a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and some pens, though it’s usually buried under some papers. We like the neighborhood because all the other shops are doing similar work, so if we need a specific tool or a bit of help, the neighbors are usually around. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people find us because someone told them we’re here. We just focus on the drawings we get and try to make the parts as close to the specs as we can. It’s a long day sometimes, especially when a machine breaks down, but that’s just how it goes in this line of work. No fancy talk, just manual labor and keeping things moving.
