S L V Battery Point is sitting right at Number 1 on Ramchandra Puram Main Road. If you know the Vidyaranyapura area, we are quite easy to find since we're near the Manjunatha Tent. It’s a good spot to be in. We deal with all sorts of batteries every day. It gets pretty greasy and heavy around the shop with all the lead and casings. We aren't trying to be fancy here. Most of the time, someone comes in because their car won't start or their home backup is dead. We just test things and see what’s wrong. It’s a lot of lifting and moving stock around in the back room. The traffic on the Main Road is always humming along, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve been in this part of Vidyaranyapura for a while, so we know a lot of the people living around Ramchandra Puram. Sometimes we stay open a bit late if a neighbor is stuck. It is just a small shop, not one of those big chain stores you see in the mall. We have our tools and our charging racks, and that's about it. It’s noisy and smells a bit like acid sometimes, but it’s our trade. We don't have a marketing team or anything, just us at the counter waiting for the next person to bring in a dead battery. We handle bikes, cars, and home units too.
