S L N Industries

We are tucked away in the Ramanna Building, right behind the Sai Kirba Nursing Home on Whitefield Road. It is a bit of a quiet corner compared to all the main road traffic nearby. S L N Industries is where we handle various small-scale manufacturing tasks. The workshop has a few machines that can be quite loud when they are all running at the same time. We usually have grease on our hands and metal shavings on the floor by noon. It is not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning and carpets. We just have a couple of ceiling fans that do their best to keep us cool. Most of our work comes from other businesses in the area that need specific parts or quick repairs. We have a small team of guys who know how to fix just about anything mechanical. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend all night in the shop getting it back up. There is always a pot of coffee going somewhere in the back room. We do not have a receptionist, so if you come in, you just have to yell over the noise to get someone’s attention. Our desks are covered in blueprints and old tools that we use every day. It is a practical place for people who like to build and fix things. We have been in this building for years and we know all the other tenants around us.
