S K Intensive Coaching Centre

We’ve been here in the Jayanagar East area for quite a while now. Most people know us because we are right in the Stock Exchange Tower at number 2160. It’s a busy building but it works for what we do. The coaching centre started because there were so many students around here who needed a quiet place to sit down and actually focus on their books. You know how it is with exams and all that pressure. We just opened up these rooms and put in some desks for them. It’s not a fancy place with shiny walls or anything. Whiteboards and a lot of old chairs that have seen better days over the years fill the rooms. The traffic around Jayanagar can be a real headache in the evenings when the classes finish up. You see the kids waiting for their parents or the bus right outside the tower entrance. Most of our day is spent going over lessons and making sure the lights stay on for everyone. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up so we end up walking the stairs which is good for the legs I guess. People come in and ask if we have some secret way of teaching but there really isn't one. It is just about sitting there and doing the work over and over until it finally sticks in your head. Many different faces come through these doors. Some stay for months and some just for a few weeks. It’s a bit of a routine but we like it here and the neighborhood is familiar.
