We are over here at the Manjunath Complex in Krishnarajpuram, right by the bus stop where it gets pretty crowded in the mornings. There’s a few of us working in this office dealing with life insurance papers and helping folks figure out what they need for their families. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular office with desks and a lot of folders stacked up. People come in from the bus stop all the time to ask questions or pay their premiums. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise but we get the work done anyway. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and most people around here know where we are. It’s a busy corner of the neighborhood with a lot of traffic passing by. We spend most of our day on the phone or typing things into the computer system. It gets a bit hectic when a lot of people show up at once, especially on Mondays. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desks. We just take it one person at a time. It’s a steady job and we like being near the main road because it’s easy for everyone to find us. If you’re walking past the bus stop you’ll see our sign. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here, just a place to sit down and talk about insurance plans. Most of the staff has been here for years so we know the routine. It’s mostly about helping neighbors with their documents.
