We are located on the first floor of Manandi Plaza, which is right there on St Marks Road. Most people know the area because we are right next to the St Marks Hotel. It is a busy part of the city, and there is always something going on outside our windows. We handle insurance stuff here, mostly just processing papers and talking to folks about their policies. The office is pretty standard, with desks and computers and too many filing cabinets. We've been at this location for a while now, and the staff has seen all sorts of claims come through. It can be a bit stressful when people are worried about their cars or health, but we just try to be straight with them. We don't have any big speeches to give. We just come in, do the work, and go home. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so taking the stairs to the first floor is usually faster anyway. The coffee shop downstairs is where we usually end up during our breaks. St Marks Road is always crowded, so getting here can take a bit of time if you're driving. We see a lot of regular faces from the neighborhood. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes. We deal with a lot of numbers and fine print every day, which can get tiring, but that’s just how insurance works. We try to keep the atmosphere in the office relaxed so we don't get too worked up by all the phone calls.
