Rekha Herbal Beauty Care

I started Rekha Herbal Beauty Care here in Prakash Nagar because I always preferred using natural stuff for skin and hair. We are located at number 736 on the 6th Main Road. It is near the 4th Cross. The shop isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but we put a lot of work into what we do inside. Mostly, it’s local ladies who come in for threading or a quick facial after they finish their shopping or housework. I try to use herbal things whenever I can because that is what my mother taught me. We don't have those expensive machines you see in the city malls. It is just me and a couple of girls helping out. We do simple things like henna for hair and basic skin cleanups. Prakash Nagar is a quiet area mostly, so it’s nice to have a business here where I know all the neighbors. Sometimes it gets a bit messy with the herbal pastes we mix up, but that is just part of the job. The room is small and we have a few partitions for privacy. I keep the curtains drawn to keep it cool during the hot afternoons. People seem to like the smell of the oils we use. We aren't trying to be the biggest salon in Bangalore, just a reliable one for the local residents on 6th Main. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
