Red Rose Food is tucked away at No.183 on the 1st Main 8th Cross in Cholanayakanahalli. If you know where Acharya College is, we are right across from it. R T Nagar is where we spend most of our days. It gets pretty busy around here when the students are out and about. We started this place because we wanted to do something local. The kitchen stays hot, especially in the afternoons. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy but we just keep going. People come in and out all day. It isn't a fancy setup. There are chairs that have seen better days and the floor gets swept ten times a day. We don't have a big team. It is just a few of us making sure things are ready. The 8th Cross is usually quiet in the early morning before the college starts up. We see the same faces every morning when the gates open. Sometimes we run out of things and have to rush to the market. That is just how it goes here. It is a simple life in Cholanayakanahalli. We don't do much advertising or anything like that. People just know we are here across from the college. It is a small spot but it keeps us busy. We like the neighborhood and the people who stop by to say hello while they walk past the shop.
