Ravi Shankar Kotak Life Insurance

I'm based out of Jayanagar 7th Block, right on the first floor of Shubhashri Pride. If you know where Bharati Nursing Home is, we are basically right next door to it. It’s a decent spot in Seshadripuram with a lot of people passing by. Most of my time is spent sitting at my desk going over insurance papers and talking to families about what they might need for the future. Life insurance isn't exactly a fun topic for most people, but it’s something that has to be done. I spend a lot of time explaining how different plans work and what the fine print actually means. People come in with a lot of worries, and I just try to lay it all out simply so they can make a choice. It’s a lot of paperwork, filling out forms, and making sure the head office gets everything they need. Sometimes I’m out of the office meeting someone at their house because they can’t make it over here during the day. The building is usually quiet, which is nice when you’re trying to concentrate on numbers. I’ve seen a lot of changes in the insurance world over the years, but the basic idea stays the same. People want to know their family is okay. I just provide the information and help them get the forms signed. It’s a small office, nothing flashy, just a place to get work done and help people out.
