Rathna General Stores

Rathna General Stores has been a part of Rajajinagar for a very long time. We are located at 198/Y, and most of the people in the neighborhood know where that is. It is just a typical local shop where we stock all the daily essentials. From grains and soaps to small household items, we try to keep a bit of everything on the shelves. The space is a bit tight because we have so many items packed in, but we know exactly where everything sits. My family has been running this place, and it’s more about the daily routine than anything else. We open up early in the morning and stay open until late evening. You see the same faces every day, which is the best part of being in Rajajinagar. It isn't a supermarket with bright lights and fancy aisles. It’s just a regular store where you can get what you need for your kitchen or home. Sometimes the deliveries arrive and things get a bit crowded near the door, but we manage. We don't do much in terms of promotions. People just come in because they need milk or a specific spice. We keep our own records and try to keep the prices fair. It is a simple life and a simple business. We are happy to be a small part of the lives of the people who live on this street. Every day brings something different, even if it is just a new brand of tea or a neighbor stopping by to chat.
