Our place is over at No-8 in the Govt Press Layout, right on Ullal Main Road. If you know where the Amma Ashram is, we are just a short walk from there. The road outside is always packed with traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We’ve been operating out of this building for some time now. It’s not a very big space, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. Most of our day is spent handling orders and talking to people who drop in. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking because the street gets so narrow with all the two-wheelers. We usually have the front shutter halfway up unless it’s really dusty or windy outside. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a couple of chairs for whoever stops by to chat or do business. We don’t do much advertising; people just seem to find us because we’ve been around the neighborhood for a bit. The light in the back room isn't great, but we get used to it. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps until it comes back. It is a simple setup. We know the shopkeepers next door and we often share a coffee from the stall down the street. It’s just us trying to keep things moving and making sure the daily tasks get finished before it gets dark.
