Rasoi At Work

Down in Electronic City, things move a bit differently. We are based in Dodda Thogur at No 52/4. It is part of the Celebrity Layout. The name sounds a bit more grand than the street actually is, but it’s a good, solid neighborhood. Rasoi At Work is where we spend all our hours. The kitchen is the heart of the whole thing. We start our prep work while the sun is still coming up. You can hear the birds in the layout before the traffic starts on the main roads. We don't have a big front sign with flashing lights. It’s just a plain entrance where the delivery bikes pull up. The floors are always being mopped because someone is always spilling something. We get our supplies from the local markets nearby. The smell of onions and ginger is always in the air. Sometimes when it rains, the mud from the unpaved parts of the layout gets everywhere, and we have to be careful with our boots. We aren't a corporate kitchen with uniforms and manuals. We are just a team of people who know how to cook for a crowd. Electronic City is full of hungry people, and we just try to keep up with the demand from our little corner of Dodda Thogur. It’s hard work, but we are used to the heat of the stoves.
