Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra

Up in Kushalnagar, within the Arkavathi Layout, things are constantly changing as the neighborhood grows. Our school, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, is right off the Thanisandra Main Road, so we are well-acquainted with the sound of construction and the heavy trucks passing by. It is a busy part of Bangalore, and getting to the gate in the morning can be a bit of a struggle for the parents. The campus itself is quite spacious, giving the kids some room to breathe away from the dusty main road. We have simple, sturdy buildings and a playground that gets a lot of use every single day. The teachers here are a dedicated bunch who often stay late to help out or just to get their marking done in the quiet of the empty classrooms. You will find that the school is a bit of a community hub for the families living in the nearby layouts. We don't have fancy marble floors or high-tech glass facades; it is just bricks and mortar where real work happens. The lunch breaks are a riot of color and noise as the children open their tiffins and share food. We just try to keep things organized and make sure the students are getting a solid foundation, all while dealing with the typical chaos of life in a fast-developing part of the city.
