Rashtriya Military School

Rashtriya Military School is situated on Hosur Road, which as anyone around here knows, is one of the busiest roads you can find. Our mailing address is actually Pb No 25040, Museum Road Post Office, but the physical gate is right there on the main stretch. It is a big, sprawling place with a lot of history behind the walls. You can’t really miss it if you’re driving toward the city center. We have a very specific way of doing things here because of the military connection. It’s not like your average neighborhood school. Everything has its place and there is a schedule for everything. The grounds are large, which is nice because it keeps the noise of the Hosur Road traffic at a bit of a distance once you get inside. We have been here for decades and the buildings show that history. They are sturdy and have that old government-style architecture. Most people know us by the uniform and the disciplined look of the place. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or modern art. It’s all about the basics and keeping the traditions going. The post office box on Museum Road handles all our letters, but the real life of the school happens behind those gates on the highway. It’s a busy, serious place but it’s home for the boys who live here during the term. It is a unique kind of life but it works well for the students.
