Ramdev Papers

Ramdev Papers is located at 5 Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. It’s basically a warehouse filled from floor to ceiling with all types of paper. We handle everything from bulk reams for offices to special sheets for printing. The air in here always smells like dry paper and cardboard. It’s a quiet place for the most part, except when we’re loading up the small trucks for deliveries around RT Nagar. My family has been in this trade for a long time. We know which paper is good for what job just by feeling the texture between our fingers. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those big stacks around so we can reach the ones at the back. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just stacks and stacks of stock everywhere you look. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy, and we have to spend a whole Saturday just re-counting everything to make sure it matches our handwritten books. We get customers from the local schools and small businesses nearby. They usually want a specific weight or size, and we go digging through the piles to find it for them. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don’t do any big advertising or anything like that. Most people just know we’re here at number 5. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our warehouse stays pretty much the same, just more paper coming in and going out every single week.
