Aruna Printers

We are located over on Dickenson Road, specifically at S-515 on Narayana Pillai Street. It’s right behind Bhima Jewellers, so if you find the gold shop, you’re basically there. Aruna Printers has been in this spot in Bharathi Nagar near the Manipal Centre for a long time. The shop is usually filled with the sound of the machines running and the smell of fresh ink. There are stacks of paper everywhere you look. Sometimes it feels like we are drowning in reams of white and colored sheets. We do a lot of small jobs for people in the neighborhood, like wedding cards or just some basic forms they need for work. It’s not a quiet place. There is always a clicking or a humming sound going on. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a couple of stools where you can sit while we check your files. The light in the back isn't great, but we know where everything is. Traffic on Dickenson Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get the heavy lifting done early in the morning. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend an hour fixing a paper jam, which is frustrating but part of the job. We just keep going until the work is finished. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who have been doing this for years and know exactly how the old press likes to run.
