Ramco Citizen Hair Style

Ramco Citizen Hair Style is right here in Chickpete, on V.S Lane. It's a busy part of Bangalore and there is always some noise from the street coming in. We are close to the SLV Hotel, so you can usually smell the sambar and coffee while we work. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. It’s got a few chairs and mirrors that have seen better days, but they do the job. I start early most mornings, sweeping the floor and getting the towels ready. People from around the cross come in for a quick trim or a shave. It gets really crowded on weekends. The lane outside is narrow, so bikes are always honking. Sometimes I sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet just to watch the people go by. We’ve been at this spot for a good amount of time now. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a small TV that usually plays the news or some old songs. It feels like home to me since I spend more time here than anywhere else. Most of the regulars don't even have to say what they want anymore, I just know. It’s just a normal place where guys come to get their hair sorted out without any fuss. The fan on the ceiling wobbles a bit if I turn it up too high, but it keeps the place cool enough during the summer months.
