Ramchand And Company is located right in the thick of things on Silver Jubilee Park Road. We are specifically on Shantappa Lane, which is a narrow little turn-off. If you’ve ever been down Sjp Road, you know how chaotic it can get with all the carts and shoppers. We’ve been at 29-B for many years. It’s an old building, and the stairs are a bit steep, so you have to be careful. We deal with a lot of different items, mostly wholesale stuff that comes in big crates. Our days usually start early before the traffic gets too bad. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and talking to suppliers. It’s a bit cramped inside with all the stock piled up to the ceiling. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. Most of our business is done face-to-face with people we’ve known for decades. It’s a loud, vibrant place to work. Sometimes we lose track of time because there's always someone coming in with a question or an order. We’re just a regular trading company trying to stay relevant in a changing market. We don’t use any corporate jargon. We just tell it like it is. If we have it, we’ll sell it to you at a fair price. If we don’t, we’ll tell you where else to look. That’s just how we do things here on the lane. It’s busy, but it’s home.
