Chickpete is a very crowded place, and our shop is right in the middle of it on Kilari Road. We are at 4/3, 32nd cross. It's a very narrow street, so it's best if you come by walk or on a two-wheeler if you can. There is no parking for cars around here. The shop has been here for years. It's a very old-school setup with the big heavy chairs that don't move much anymore. We do mostly basic haircuts and beard trims for the guys. It gets very hot in the afternoons because the building is old, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. You can hear all the noise from the market outside—the vendors shouting and the horns honking. It is never quiet here. Rajesh handles most of the customers himself, sometimes with a helper if it’s a particularly busy day. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where we are by word of mouth. Most of the customers are workers from the nearby shops or people living in the old houses around Chickpete. We use standard razors and scissors for everyone. It is a simple life and a simple business. If you want a quick haircut without any fuss while you are doing your shopping, you can stop by. We keep it honest and cheap for the common man.
