Raj Cements

Raj Cements is located right at 4 Hennur Road. If you know the area, you know how the traffic gets during the rush hours. We've been here at this spot for quite some time. It's a bit of a dusty place, which I guess is expected when you're dealing with cement bags and construction stuff all day. The trucks come and go early in the morning. We spend most of our time checking orders and making sure the loaders are doing their bit. It’s not a quiet job. There’s always the sound of vehicles passing by on Hennur Road. Sometimes we sit outside on the stools when it’s not too hot. We have a small office space, but it’s mostly filled with ledgers and some old furniture. People from the nearby building sites stop by to talk about their projects. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the business well enough. It’s hard work, especially when the weather gets messy or the rain starts. But we’ve got a roof that doesn't leak much anymore. We just keep things running as best as we can. Dealing with suppliers takes up a lot of the afternoon. By the time we close up, the street lights are usually already on. It's a basic setup, nothing fancy to look at, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the bags out to the customers who need them.
