Rahmath Stores

You can find Rahmath Stores over on Magadi Road in Bangalore. We are specifically at 18 1St B Cross in Cholourpalya, right near Shiva Medicals. It is a neighborhood where people are always on the move. We sell the usual groceries and household items that people need for their kitchens and cleaning. The shop is not very big, so we have to use every inch of space, even hanging some bags and items from the ceiling hooks. It is a bit of a maze sometimes when the new stock arrives. We start very early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. The traffic on Magadi Road can be a nightmare during peak hours, but our little cross-street is slightly quieter than the main road. We get a lot of people who are going to the medical store next door and stop in here to grab a bottle of water or some biscuits on their way out. We have gotten to know the delivery drivers and the local residents pretty well over the years. We do not have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just open the shutters, sweep the floor, and wait for the first customer of the day. Sometimes we run out of things like onions or potatoes if the market price is too high, but we try to keep the basics ready. It is just a small family-run business trying to stay busy and helpful.
