Raghavendra Cements

We are over at number 6/2 on the 1st Main Road, 3rd Cross in Ganganagar. Raghavendra Cements is a fairly small operation, mostly just a warehouse space where we keep the bags stacked up. It’s a bit of a dusty business, as you can imagine with all that cement around. We’ve been in Ganganagar for years and have seen plenty of houses go up in the area using our supplies. The trucks come and go throughout the day, which keeps the neighbors on their toes. It’s a practical kind of job. We spend a lot of time checking orders and making sure the stacks are stable. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. People just come by, tell us how much they need, and we figure out how to get it to them. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it rains and we have to keep everything dry. We have a small desk in the corner where we keep our records. It’s not the most modern office, but it works for what we need. We know the local builders and the people doing their own home repairs. It’s good to be a part of building things. We don't make a big deal out of it, we just provide the materials and let the workers do their thing. It’s a steady way to earn a living in a neighborhood we know well and enjoy working in.
