R N M Catering operates out of the first floor at No. 91 Purusharth in Gavipuram Extension. If you know the area, it's right on 3rd Cross. It’s a bit of a climb up to the first floor with heavy crates, but we’re used to it by now. The kitchen space is where most of the life happens. We spend our mornings chopping vegetables and getting the big burners going. The smell of spices usually fills up the whole stairwell before noon. New No. 3 is a busy little spot, and parking can be a real headache when we’re trying to load the vans for a delivery. We’ve had to get creative with how we move things in and out. It’s mostly just us working away, making sure the orders are packed right and nothing gets forgotten in the rush. There’s always a lot of washing up to do, and the floors need scrubbing constantly because things get messy fast when you're cooking for a crowd. It’s not a corporate office or anything like that; it’s just a workspace where we get things done. We know the local shopkeepers around the corner, and sometimes we grab a quick break outside when the heat gets to be too much. It’s a straightforward job, keeping track of dates and making sure the food goes out on time to wherever it's supposed to go in Bangalore. We just keep our heads down and do the work without any extra fuss or ceremony.
