R N B Pub

R N B Pub is tucked away at 364/B in Shrinagar Society 44, over in Rabindranath Tagore Nagar. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road. Inside, it’s usually dim because we like it that way. We have some wooden stools and tables that have seen better days. The music is usually playing, but not too loud that you can't talk. We serve drinks and some small plates of food to go with them. It’s a place where people come to sit after work. We spend a lot of time washing glasses and wiping down the bar top. It’s a steady kind of work. RT Nagar is a quiet place mostly, so we don't get too rowdy here. We know who is going to walk through the door most nights. Sometimes the fridge makes a humming sound that's a bit annoying, but we're used to it. We don't have neon signs or anything flashy outside. The address in Shrinagar Society is easy enough to find if you're looking. We open up in the late afternoon. It takes a while to get everything ready. We check the taps and make sure the snacks are ready. It's just a local pub. Nothing more to it than that. We stay until the last person leaves and then we lock up. It takes a few minutes to get the gate shut properly because the lock sticks.
